WOZ

WOZ (Waardering Onroerende Zaken in dutch) is the property valuation as determined each year by the municipality in which the property is located. The value also determines how much governmental taxes need to be paid. These governmental taxes include property tax, water authority taxes and income tax. To determine the WOZ value a number of factors are used, including location, year of construction, living area and the size of the plot.
